Use forecast and history to plan safer daily farm work.
Weather in FarmFusion keeps forecast and history close to the work your team is planning. Open it from the left menu, and watch for weather context on certain map surfaces. Forecast and history are brought to you by Apple WeatherKit for supported US farm locations. When severe weather alerts are enabled, FarmFusion also relays active National Weather Service alerts matched to your selected primary weather location, normally farm HQ.
When to use Weather
Use Weather to:
- check current conditions and forecast in Weather -> Forecast
- review weather context where it appears on maps
- compare upcoming work with weather risk
- review stored daily observations in Weather -> History
- watch for conditions that should change field plans
- open the official National Weather Service details linked from an active alert
- add weather context to planning conversations
Before you start
Set your farm location accurately. Weather is most useful when the farm address and field locations are current.
Daily flow
- Open Weather from the left menu or check weather context where it appears on maps.
- Review current conditions and the forecast before assigning field work.
- Use History when you need stored daily observations for review.
- Adjust work timing when weather creates a safety, access, spray, planting, or harvest concern.
What good looks like
Weather does not replace local judgment. It gives managers and operators one shared place to discuss conditions before work moves.
Severe weather alerts can be delayed or unavailable. They cover the selected weather location, not every parcel. FarmFusion is not an emergency warning system. Keep using official local warnings and emergency guidance.
Common issues
Weather looks wrong for the farm. Check the farm location in settings. WeatherKit support is focused on US locations.
History is missing recent days. Check later or contact support if the gap continues.
The forecast changes after work is assigned. Update the work item, due date, or notes so the crew sees the latest decision.
