Inventory
Track parts, fuel, inputs, reorder alerts, and stock movement.
Inventory helps your farm know what is on hand, what is low, and what changed. Use it to keep parts, fuel, inputs, vendors, and transactions connected to daily work.
When to use Inventory
Use Inventory when you need to:
- track spare parts and quantities
- record fuel storage and fill levels
- manage input products and lots
- review reorder alerts
- see stock movement history
- connect supplies to work items or work logs
Before you start
Start with the items that create delays when they are missing. Common first choices are filters, belts, hydraulic parts, seed, chemical, fertilizer, and fuel tanks.
Daily flow
- Open Inventory and choose the area you need: Parts, Fuel, Inputs, Reorder alerts, or Transactions.
- Add important products, parts, lots, tanks, or vendors.
- Record receipts, usage, adjustments, or transfers as they happen.
- Review reorder alerts before busy work windows.
- Link supply needs back to work items when a job depends on the item.
What good looks like
Your team can tell what is available, what is low, and what needs to be bought before it blocks field or shop work.
Common issues
Counts look wrong. Review recent transactions and add an adjustment if the physical count differs.
A part is hard to find. Use clear names, vendor details, and notes that match how the shop talks about the item.
A job is waiting on supplies. Create or update the work item so the supply need is visible to the team.
